Natalia Carbajosa (Ph.D.)

Natalia Carbajosa (Ph.D.) studierte Anglistik an der Universität Salamanca und ist heute Leitende Dozentin an der Universität Cartagena im Bereich berufliches und akademisches Englisch für Ingenieurwesen. Seit 4 Jahren unterrichtet sie auch Deutsch als Wahlfach an der betriebswirtschaftlichen Fakultät (Abschluss in Tourismus).

Als Forscherin und Übersetzerin hat sie sich auf angloamerikanische Dichterinnen der 20. Jahrhunderts spezialisiert und hat zweisprachige Ausgaben von H.D., Rae Armantrout, Kathleen Raine, Lorine Niedecker (2019 Preis der Spanisches Verbands für Anglistik AEDEAN), Adrienne Rich oder Dorothea Tanning u.a. veröffentlicht.

Außerdem übersetzt sie ins Spanische (in Zusammenarbeit mit Professorin Viorica Patea) die Werke der rumänischen Dichterin Ana Blandiana. Ihre 2019 Studie Female Beatness: Mujeres, género y poesía en la generación Beat, geschrieben zusammen mit Forscherin Isabel Castelao-Gómez, hat den 2021 Javier Coy Research Award gewonnen.

2. Information zur Universität Cartagena (UPCT)

Öffentliche Hochschule, gegründet 2000. Ihr Angebot wird meistens auf technischen (Ingenieurwesen, Architektur) und sozialwissenschaftlichen Fächern (BWL und Tourismus) basiert. Sie hat drei Campus-Anlagen in historischen Gebäuden der Stadt Cartagena. Sie verfügt über circa 6.000 Studierende.

3. Information zur Stadt Cartagena

Cartagena wurde etwa 3.000 Jahre am Mittelmeer vom punischer General Asdrúbal gegründet und vom römischen General Scipio erobert. Heute ist sie ein wichtiges Industriestandort. In vorherigen Jahrhunderten ist sie auch ein strategischer militärischer Punkt und ein Platz für Bergbau geworden. Insgesamt verfügt sie über zahlreiche archäologische Überreste, herrliche Jugendstilgebäude und Seefestungen der Küste entlang. Alle diese Sehenswürdigkeiten erzählen von ihrer vielfältigen Geschichte. Im Winter ist die Umgebung ideal für Fußwanderung in die näheren Berge, im Sommer sind natürlich die Wassersportaktivitäten am beliebtesten.
