so begrüßt man sich kurz und knapp in Norddeutschland, wo ich lange gelebt und studiert habe.
Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Verlagskauffrau in Stuttgart hatte mein Studium an der Fach-hochschule in Hamburg im Fachbereich Bibliothek und Information zunächst nichts mit Deutsch als Fremdsprache zu tun. Dennoch ging es um Sprachvermittlung, als ich mit einer Kommilitonin in einem Asylheim das Projekt: „Leseförderung für ausländische Kinder“ ins Leben rief, denn nicht nur die Kinder nahmen teil, auch die Mütter baten darum, Deutsch mit uns lernen zu dürfen.
Viele Jahr später, ich lebte mittlerweile mit meiner Familie in der Nähe von Frankfurt, suchte der Ausländerbeirat eine Lehrerin für seine Deutschkurse. Damit wurde der Grundstein für eine erfüllende, neue Berufsausrichtung gelegt. Parallel zu zahlreichen Fort- und Weiterbildungen, zuletzt am Goethe-Institut in Mannheim, arbeite ich seither für verschiedene Institutionen, Agenturen und Firmen und bin seit 2019 als Dozentin an der h_da im Bereich Deutsch als Fremdsprache tätig.
Neben der Freude an Menschen, anderen Kulturen und der Sprachvermittlung ist Literatur und das Schreiben eine weitere große Leidenschaft. Nachdem ich in der Studienzeit für zwei Zeitungen tätig war, nutze ich diese Fähigkeit heute, um Texte für den Deutschunterricht aktuell und interessant zu gestalten.
„Dank“ Corona ist der Bildungsbereich digitaler geworden, nicht nur in der Lehre bietet es uns heute die Möglichkeit, trotz großer Distanzen diesen interkulturellen Austausch zwischen Studierenden aus Dublin, Cartagena und Darmstadt aufzunehmen.
Voller Spannung sehe ich dem Projekt „Da-Ca-Du Interkulturell“ entgegen und freue mich auf den Start dieses Blog, der hoffentlich lange weitergeführt werden wird.
