Das U-Boot von Peral
Das erste Torpedo U-Boot der Welt. Der Ingenieur und Offizier aus Cartagena Isaac Peral bautet es 1885 (achtzehnhundert fünfundachtzig). Heute liegt das U-Boot beim Arsenal in Cartagena.
Die Studenten vom Polytechnischen Institut Cartagenas stellen das U-Boot wieder, und 2013 König Philipp VI. kommt zur Eröffnung.
Das Vereinigte Königreich und andere europäische Länder wollen das U-Boot nicht. Isaac Peral ist böse und er zerstört die U-Bootplänen, dann verlässt er die Marine.
Später, als Bauingenieur, bringt er das Lichtsystem nach Madrid. Und 1898 verliert Spanien den Krieg gegen die Vereinigten Staaten. Die Amerikaner benutzen U-Boote wie Perals U-Boot. Das Grab von Peral liegt am Los Remedios Friedhof in Cartagena.
